Free Games Radar: Agent A, Bad Cheese, F1 25 and This Week's Deals

Epic Games Store — This Week's Free Games (October 15–22)

Epic Games Store started the week with two new titles permanently added to your library. The highlight is Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise (regular price: $19.99), a logic and detective game set in the 1960s, with an art deco aesthetic and mechanics that require spotting hidden details to advance through Agent A's missions as she infiltrates the villain Ruby La Rouge's secret base. The title, available for PC and mobile (via the Epic app), holds an "Overwhelmingly Positive" review on Steam with nearly 2,000 reviews and is recommended for anyone who enjoys narrative puzzle games.

Bad Cheese ($12.99 regular price) takes a very different approach. The game puts you in the paws of a mouse in a psychological horror simulation with a 1920s animation-inspired aesthetic. The goal is straightforward but unsettling: keep "Dad" happy to survive the weekend. Available on PC only, Bad Cheese blends dark humor with absurd horror elements.

> Summary: Agent A ($19.99 → free) and Bad Cheese ($12.99 → free) combine for $32.98 in savings. Both are free to keep forever, not free-to-play.

PlayStation Plus — October Games (October 6 – November 2)

Sony has already announced October's lineup for PS Plus Essential subscribers — three titles:

- F1 25 ($69.99, PS5) — The official 2025 Formula 1 racing simulator with all real teams and drivers, career mode, My Team 2.0, and F1 World multiplayer. IGN gave it 8/10, calling it "a much broader and better package" than previous entries.

- Hunt: Showdown 1896 ($39.99, PS5) — The most unforgiving extraction shooter in the Returns series, set in the corrupted bayous of the 19th century. Players alone or in teams hunt monstrosities, face other hunters, and try to escape with the bounty.

- Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 ($49.99, PS5/PS4) — The massive action franchise returns: the square Earth is under attack by giant enemies, and it's up to the player to assemble four-member teams with varied abilities to conduct combat operations.

All available for download for subscribers starting October 6.

Amazon Prime Gaming — DOOM (2016) and FNAF: Into the Pit

Until November 4, Prime members can download for free:

- DOOM (2016) via GOG — The classic reinvented by id Software that defined a generation of shooters.

- Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit via Epic Games Store — The indie horror game that went viral on social media, based on the series lore with a vintage-inspired visual style.

> Tip: If you still have an active Prime subscription, grab these soon — the games total about $50 combined value and the window is short.

Steam — Next Fest (October 19–26)

Steam's October Next Fest is running now until the 26th. There are 269 demos of indie games being tested by players. Unlike Free Weekends, these are limited-time demos only — but it's a great way to sample titles launching soon. The event includes the Cooking Fest and Steam Scream V (with Halloween-themed horror games).

Steam's next free weekends haven't been confirmed yet. The last round (October 15–19) featured Battlefield 6 and Stranded Deep.
